Q: How Long does it take to get parts?

A: The "standard" answer is 1-2 weeks. The real answer is no one knows until the parts are ordered and we find out if its coming from Hilo, Ohau , California or Germany... normally it takes 1-2 weeks.

 

Q: What happens if you guys find something the insurance guys missed?

A: If it looks reasonably related to the accident we take pics, call insurance company and get it included with the repairs.

 

Q: What kine guarantee you guys got?

A: On All "normal repairs" we guarantee our work for as long as you own the vehicle. If we are also your insurance company's preferred shop then the insurance company guarantees our work as well as long as you own the vehicle.

 

Q: Do you take my insurance company?

A: Yes.

 

Q: Will you do my restoration?

A: it depends. We normally only take in 3-5 restorations a year. The honest truth is if the job is cool enough and the price is right we got no problem.

 

Q: Do I have the right to choose where I get my vehicle fixed?

A: Yes. Your insurance company may have a shop that they recommend but the decision is always yours to make. It is your vehicle!

 

Q: Will the paint match my vehicle's color?

A: Yes! The manufacturer installs a paint code in your vehicle that allows us to mix paint specifically for your vehicle. We mix your paint on location to achieve the perfect color match. Our computerized mixing system produces a color formula from a combination of over 80 different color tints. Our digital scale allows us to accurately mix down to 1/10 of a gram!

 

Q: Will the repaired vehicle be as safe as it was before the accident?

A: Absolutely! SKG Autobody has invested in the latest equipment, technology, and training to ensure your repaired vehicle meets the manufacturer's specifications. Our equipment delivers tight tolerances to make the vehicle as safe, or safer than the day it rolled off the assembly line. Our expert employees want you and your family safe.

 

Q: How do I get a rental car?

A: It depends... If some one hits you you and it is being covered by there insurance you always get a rental. If you hit some one, something, or a coconut falls on your car you get a free rental if you have "rental coverage" on your policy. If you do not have rental coverage and need one we have established a"preferred service" with Enterprise. We have exclusive body shop rates that make it as cheep as possible for you. Enterprise will pick you up drop you off at our shop. No need for an extra person.

 

Q: When do I pay my deductible?

A: Your deductible is payable in full at the completion of the repairs

 

Q: What form of payment do you accept?

A: We accept cash, local checks, visa, master card and cashiers check. Final payment is due upon completion of the vehicle.
